On Garland Records in the late 1960's a band from Longview, Washington with the name of Smack (formerly the Panics) recorded a 45 rpm record Suzie Q on one side and Hit The Road Jack on the other. The record was produced by Dale Hansen.
Both sides of this record got airplay in Portland, Oregon and pretty much most all of the Pacific Northwest. The band drew crowds everywhere they played and their records got a lot of request for airplay on the popular radio stations.
Members of SMACK were Mike Cleek, lead guitar and vocals. Mike later played guitar with Diamond Rio, Bob McGraw was the rhythm Guitar, Phil Pepin played drums and Mark Roland played bass. This was a very good band.
This record is in very good plus condition.
