David Houston released this album on Epic Record Label in 1975. On this album are the following songs: A Man Needs Love, Soft As A Rose, The Ten Commandments of Love (with Barbara Mandrell), Flower Of Love, That Same Ol' Look Of Love, Can't You Feel It, The Fool Strikes Again, Ain't It Good, His Arms Around You (with Gene Austin) and I Walk And I Walk And I Walk. A excellent album with vocal accompaniments by The Jordanaires and The Nashville Edition.

Houston was born in Louisiana in December of 1935. He was a ant of Sam Houston the first president of the Republic of Texas and Confederate General Robert E. Lee. Houstons godfather was 1920's pop singer Gene Austin. 

Houston was one of the first singers on the National Recording Corporation in Atlanta, Georgia. It was 1963 when Houston hit success on a National level with "Mountain Of Love", keep in mind this song was different from the on made famous by Johnny National Recording Corporation in Atlanta, Georgia. In 1963, he rose to national stardom with "Mountain of Love"; the song, which was different from the song by Johnny Rivers and Charley Pride. He climbed to number two on Billboard's Hot Country Singles Chart. He followed that with another hit in 1965, "Livin' In A House Full Of Love". 

In 1966, Houston recorded his breakthrough smash, "Almost Persuaded". His recording of it went to number one that August and staying on top of Billboard's Hot Country Singles Chart. For 46 years, no song equalled or bettered Houston's feat until Taylor Swift matched the nine week record on December 15, 2012 with "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together".  Swift's song bettered the nine week stay with one extra week. 

Houston was awarded 2 Grammy Awards for Best Country & Western Recording and Best Country & Western Performance, Male in 1967 for "Almost Persuaded".

Houston's last Top 10 country hit came in 1974 with "Can't You Feel It", though he continued making records until 1989.
