Parrot Records released the first album for Frijid Pink in 1970 and that album reached number 11 in the United States.

The songs that are on this album are: God Gave Me You; Crying Shame; PM On My Way; Drivin' Blues; Tell Me Why; End Of The Line; House Of The Rising Sun; I Want To Be Your Lover and Boozin' Blues.

Frijid Pink formed when local Detroit-area cover band the Detroit Vibrations, was joined by guitarist Gary Ray Thompson and singer Tom Beaudry, who later took the stage name Kelly Green. The group spent their first two years touring throughout the Detroit and Southeast Michigan area and eventually signed with Parrot Records. They released to singles in 1969, the first was "Tell Me Why" and it did hit the Canadian charts at number 70 and the second single called "Drivin Blues" did not gain much attention however when they released their third single in that year, it was a distorted guitar driven rendition of "House Of The Rising Sun, it climbed the charts to the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the spring of 1970.  An interesting fact is that that song was just something they used to fill up some time at the end of a recording session.

Frijid Pink's self-titled debut in 1970, as did their second release Defrosted, with virtually all of the album's writing being provided by the duo of Beaudry and Thompson.

This album is in very good condition, even the cover looks excellent.
