Gary Puckett and the Union Gap released this album in December of 1969 on Columbia Records. This album includes the following songs: Home; Stay Out Of My World; Lullaby; Hard Tomorrow; This Girl Is A Woman Now; My Son;; Simple Man; Out In The Cold Again; Don't Give In To Him and His Other Woman. This album reached number 50 on Billboards Album Chart.

Gary Puckett, was born October 17, 1942, in Hibbing, Minnesota, and grew up in Yakima, Washington very close to Union Gap and Twin Falls, Idaho. After graduation from high school in Twin Falls, Idaho he moved to San Diego, California to attend college. Eventually he decided to drop out of college and play music. Puckett played in several local bands but eventually joined a group called the Outcasts, that band produced two singles but were not successful.
Following the breakup of the Outcasts, Puckett formed a new group he called Gary and the Remarkables, with Kerry Chater on bass, Gary 'Mutha" Withem on keyboards, Dwight Bement on tenor sax and Paul Wheatbreat on drums.
In 1966, the band began touring the Pacific Northwest with Wheatbread who had become the house drummer on the television series, Where the Action Is. Wheatbread later rejoined the group.
Manager Dick Badger, renamed the Remarkables the Union Gap in early 1967, and its members outfitted themselves in Union Army style Civil War as a visual gimmick. They then recorded a demo, which was heard by CBS record producer and songwriter Jerry Fuller who was impressed by Puckett's tenor voice and the band's soft rock style, he signed them to a recording contract with Columbia Records.
