This is an excellent album by The Limeliters, released in 1961 on RCA Victor Records. On this album are the following songs: Western Wind; Medle: Hard Travelin', Mount Zion; Lass from the Low Country; Gunslinger; Curima; Vikki Dougan; Aravah, Aravah; Whistling Gypsy; The Time of Man; Harry Pollitt; Hard Ain't It Hard and Mama Don't 'Low.

The Limeliters are an American folk music group, formed in July 1959 by Lou Gottlieb who played bass and violin and sang bass; Aliex Hassilev on banjo and sang baritone; and Glenn Yarbrough on guitar and sang tenor. The group was active from 1959 until 1965, when they disbanded. After a hiatus of sixteen years Yarbrough, Hassilev, and Gottlieb reunited and began performing again as The Limeliters in reunion tours. On a regular basis a continuation The Limeliters group is still active and performing however Gottlieb died in 1996 at the age of 73, Yarbrough died in 2016 at the age of 86 and (age 86) and Hassilev who was born in 1932, the last founding member who had remained active in the group has now retired leaving the group to carry on without any of the original founding members.

This album LPM-2393 was recorded in new orthophonic high fidelity, the album is in very good condition. The cover is also in very good condition.
