In 1971 The Bards recorded and released I Want You and Freedom Catcher on a 45 rpm record on the Burdette label which was part of Jerden Industries, Inc.
The Bards started in Moses Lake, Washington, and were very popular the early 60's into the 70's. Originally this band was The Continentals and soon changing their name to The Fabulous Continentals. But from their the new name, The Bards hit and hit hard throughout the Pacific Northwest. They became very popular.
