A & M Records has released a number of great songs on this Forget Me Nots Label and this is one of those. One side is a hit from 1966 by Herb Alpert & The Tijuana Brass. A song produced by Alpert and Jerry Moss call What Now My Love. On the B side another of those hits, Spanish Flea was released in 1965 and was on the Going Places Album in 1965. As a single the song peaked at number 27 while the album went to number one.
Herb Alpert was born in 1935. iKnown as an American jazz musician. Known for his work with his band the Tijuana Brass, also Herb Alpert' Tijuana Brass and also simply TJB. Alpert is the A in A & M Records a company he and his business partner Jerry Moss founded and eventually sold to PolyGram.
Alpert and his wife Lani Hall to whom he has been married since the early 70's do are substantial philanthropists through his foundation known simply as the Herb Alpert Foundation.
This record was used on the air in radio and still has the stickers that were common for timing and rotation. However this single is in very good condition.
