Rosanne Cash was born in 1955 and is the eldest daughter of Johnny Cash and Johnny's first wife. Cash crosses many genre of music including folk, rock, blues, pop and Americana. She had a string of chart topping singles in the 1980's, they crossed many musical genres and were most accepted in country and pop charts. Her most successful was in 1981 called "Seven Year Ache".
In 1991, Cash ended her marriage and left Nashville and moved to New York City, where she has continued to write, record, and perform. Since 1991 she has released six albums, written three books, and edited a collection of short stories. Her fiction and essays have been well published.
