This single was released in October of 1968 by The Moody Blues on Deram label, part of London Records.

The Moody Blues an English rock band. The group was formed in Birmingham in 1964 and began getting a lot of attention playing R&B music. By the time their second album, "Days of Future Passed" was released in 1967 they had put together a fusion of rock and classical music which actually established them as pioneers in developing art rock and even progressive rock.

This record, Ride My See-Saw only reached #61 on the Billboard Hot 100 but it is an iconic number by one of the great bands. As a matter of fact at Mood Blues concerts, Ride My See-Saw is the encore presentation at the end of the shows. When performed live, it is usually opened with a lengthy keyboard and drum duet as the band members make their way back out on the stage for the encore.

The following members were in the band when this record was released: John Lodge on bass guitar and vocals; Justin Hayward on electric guitar, acoustic guitar and vocals; Mike Pinder on mellotron and vocals; Ray Thomas on tambourine and vocals and Graeme Edge on drums and maracas.

The Moody Blues has been awarded 18 platinum and gold LP's. They have sold 70 million albums worldwide and were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2018.

This forty five is a promotional copy for radio station use and does show some wear. It has some radio station notes on the label. I will say this record still sounds good even with the wear.
