This single was released in 1967 on RCA Victor label by The Youngbloods.
Jesse Colin Young from Queens, NY and at the time The Youngbloods were fored Young was a moderately successful folk singer with two albums. In 1965 he met fellow folk singer and blugrass Jerry Corbitt. The two started touring in Canada and adopted the name The Youngbloods. Young added other musicians including Lowell "Banana" Levinger on guitar and electric piano, Joe Bauer on drums.
