From Happy, Texas came Buddy Knox recording artist with a string of hits. He and some of his high school friends formed a band called the Rhythm Orchids. In 1956 they performed on a radio show with another Texan, Roy Orbison and his Teen Kings band, Orbison told Knox to go see a record producer Norman Petty who had a recording studio in Clovis, New Mexico, the same studio where Buddy Holly recorded several of his first hits including That'll Be The Day".
In 1961 Ling-Ting-Tong was released with The Kisses on the flip side. Released on Liberty Records. This 45 rpm record sounds good but the record does show wear from play. It is not new but has a lot of spins left.
