Released on Imperial Records in 1959 with Golden Years as the A side and a B side called Take Me To Your Leader.
In the beginning The Lancers consisted of Jerry Meacham, Dick Burr, Bob Porter and Corky Lindgren. They were a popular singing group of the early to mid-fifties and hit the charts with “Sweet Mama Tree Top tall” in 1953.
The Lancers were well received wherever they played. They were very good.
This 45 sounds very good but does show some wear. I am sure it still have years left for your enjoyment.
