This is a 1971 RCA release of Albert Coleman's Music City Pops, Country Concert.
According to Chet Atkins this is a happy marriage of country and concert. The idea for this album developed from a combination of love for some of the beautiful country music melodies and background of conducting symphonic and pops orchestras around the world. It is a very good album so very well done. On this album are the following songs: Steel Guitar Rag; Blues Stay Away from Me; Sophisticated Hoe-Down; Lonely Trumpet; Chaplin in New Shoes; Foggy Mountain Breakdown; Release Me; Seattle; The Last Letter and Wintergreen.
