The Bay City Rollers are a Scottish pop band from Edinburgh whose popularity was highest in the mid 1970s. They enjoyed some British Hit Singles and notable albums. In addition they were known as the first of many acts heralded as the biggest group since the Beatles. They were surely one of the most screamed at teeny bopper acts of the 1970's. For a fairly brief period they were worldwide teen idols known as "Rollermania".
The Rollers had numerous changes in members over the years but in the beginning and in it's big days were guitarists Eric Faulkner and Stuart John Wood, singer Les McKeown, bassist Alan Longmuir and drummer Derek Longmuir.
