This is an album released in 1967 on RCA Camden Records. Dottie West and the Heartaches The Sound Of Country Music. This album contained the following songs: You Ain't Woman Enough, Together Again, Pick Me Up On Your Way Down, Someone Before Me, I Don't Hurt Anymore, Heartaches By The Number, City Lights, Slowly, Crazy Arms and I Miss You Already. 

This album sounds good but has some small surface scratches. For the most part a good sound record. 

Dottie West earned her first Top 40 hit in 1963 with "Let Me Off at the Corner", followed a year later by the Top Ten duet with she sang with Jim Reeves called Love Is No Excuse. In 1964 she auditioned for RCA Victor producer Chet Atkins. He agreed to produce her composition "Here Comes My Baby". That single made West the first female country artist to win a Grammy. She won for Best Female Country Vocal Performance, that award led to an invitation to join the Grand Ole Opry. That song reached #10 on Billboard Magazines Country Charts in 1964. 

Around the same period of times West appeared in a pair of films, Second Fiddle to a Steel Guitar and There's a Still on the Hill. Her success as a singer during the mid to late 1960's did very well. in the late 1960's she was offered the opportunity to write a commercial for Coca Cola in 1970. The soft drink company like the result so much that it signed her to a lifetime contract as a jingle writer.

Dottie West was an excellent singer and was known for some memorable duets with Kenny Rogers.

West was lost due to injuries from a car accident at the age of 58 in 1991.
