2002 7.2 Stars The story of the first major battle of the American phase of the Vietnam War and the soldiers on both sides who fought it. 1st Battalion, 7 Cavalry Regiment, 1st Calvary Division's battle in 1965 seen through the eyes of the battalion's commander, Lieutenant Colonel Hal Moore (Gibson) who does a phenomenal job in the role and this movie is about as true to fact as you can get. The movie tells it like it is, from a soldier's point of view, one which someone who wasn't there will never fully understand. These soldiers were volunteers and this movie shows their honor and nobility as it should. Great cast and a good history lesson.
Rated R and a little over 2 hours in length. The disc is in great condition.
