This album by Gary Lewis on Liberty Records was recorded when Lewis was home on leave after entering the military in 1967. He was one of very few of the pop stars who was drafted and actually served during the Vietnam War. The release of this album was to serve two purposes. First to keep him in the public eye while he was serving his country and the second was to update his sound and his approach to psychedelia and heavy rock as they were becoming so popular. This album is actually a long way from psychedelia, but it is certainly more gutty and energetic than his previous offerings.
On this album are the following songs: Jill; Don't Make Promises; She'd Rather Be With Me; Look, Here Comes The Sun; Happiness; Bring The Whole Family; Reason To Believe; New Day; Small Talk; Angel On The Corner; Six O'clock and Young and Carefree.
This album is in very good condition plus.
