Ollie Imogene "Jean" Shepard was born in November in 1933 and left us in 2016. She was best described as a honky tonk singer and songwriter who followed Kitty Wells break trough in Country Music and actually pioneered the way for women in country music. Shepard released a total of 73 singles to the Hot Country Songs chart, one of which reached the No. 1 spot. She recorded a total of 24 studio albums between 1956–81, and became a member of the Grand Ole Opry n 1955.
This album was recorded in Stereo. It sounds good and is in very good condition, the cover shows some shelf wear.
