One of the greatest compliments an entertainer can pay another is to call him an entertainer's entertainer. When Jimmy Patton stepped on the stage, and the fellow entertainers would flock to the wings of the stage just to watch and listen. The crowds loved him.
I as many others rate Jimmy Patton as one of the greatest artists of all time.
This album was recorded at Columbia Recording Studios November 3 and 4 in 1964. On this excellent album were some great musician including: Autry Inman on Guitar; Willie Ackerman on Drums; Hargus Robbins on Piano; Billy Grammer on Guitar; Bud Logan on Bass; Tommy Jackson on Fiddle and Buddy Spicher on Fiddle.
