This is a very good album that was released in 1965 on Pickwick/33 records in stereo. #pc-2030. This is an excellent alum that includes the following songs: Turn Back The Hands Of Time; Monkey's Uncle; The Love I Found; My Babe; Goodbye My Love; Wicked Women; I Just Can't Take It; Could This BE Love; Switching In The Kitchen and Talkin' Dog.

This album is in very good condition how ever the cover shows some wear on the edges.

Joe Tex came from Texas and became one of the key personalities in the sixties popular music. He started with an appearance at an amateur show near his home town of Baytown, Texas. Winning top prize which was a two week trip to New Yourk where Joe entered an amateur contest at the Apollo Theater and once again he came out on top. At that point the Apollo Theater booked Tex for one week; he stayed for four.

Joe Tex's singing style is too many sided to pin down. There are overtones of gospel, rhythm and blues and country western in his delivery but from any point of view its not just all of that, but it is his wonderful electrifying style that made him so popular.
