John Entwistle released Whistle Rymes the album in 1972 on Track Record. On this album are the following: Ten Little Friends; Apron Strings; I Feel Better; Thinking It Over; Who Cares?; I Wonder; I Was Just Being Friendly; The Window Shopper; I Found Out and Nightmare (Please Wake Me Up).
John Alec Entwistle born in 1944, he was an English bass guitarist, singer, songwriter, and film and music producer. In a music career that spanned more than 40 years, he was best known as the original bass guitarist for the The Who. Interestingly he was the only member of the band to have formal musical training. As a member of The Who he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1990.
In 2011 he was voted as the greatest bass guitarist of all time in a Rolling Stone magazine readers poll, and in its special "100 Greatest Bass Players" issue in 2017.
