This album was released in 1969 on Dot Records.
The Mint Tattoo came to be when Bruce Stevens and Ralph Kellogg who had played together in Blue Cheer on that bands self titled album. After that album was recorded Stevens left the band to pursue other interests while Kellogg stayed with Blue Cheer until 1971. But during that time he got together with Stevens and drummer Gregg Thomas to form Mint Tattoo.
This album is a mixture of blues styled original songs and some rather typical era hard rock tunes. This album is a promotional copy in mono, created for radio station air play. The album in is in very good plus condition the cover is still together but it shows wear.
