In 1983 Ronnie Milsap released Stranger In My House on a 45 rpm record on the RCA label. Both sides of this particular copy are the same as it is a promotional copy. It does have one side in mono and the other in stereo. Usually that was done to get the best sound on air play regardless if you were giving it to an FM or an AM radio station.
This was Milsap's 35th single and the song immediately became a major hit as it peaked at No. 5 on the Country chart and No. 8 on the Adult Contemporary chart. The song also went to No. 23 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart.
This song features a rock guitar solo from Bruce Dees. Some radio stations edited this solo out of the song, and a station in Denver, Colorado refused to play the song, because personnel at the station thought that the song sounded like a Led Zeppelin song.
This record is in like new condition it actually looks new.
