This 45 rpm record was released by Smokey Robinson and the Miracles in 1969 on Tamla records. Tamla was a trademark of Motown Records.

The Miracles were also known as Smokey Robinson and the Miracles from 1965 to 1972. The Miracles were the first successful R&B vocal group for Berry Gordy's Motown Records and were one of the most important and influential groups in pop, rock and roll and R&B music history.

The group was started in 1955 by Smokey Robinson, Warren "Pete" Moore and Ronnie White, the group was first known as the Five Chimes, changing their name to the Matadors two years later. The group fianlly settled on the Miracles after the bringing Claudette Robinson to the group in 1958. The most notable Miracles line-up included the Robinsons, Moore, White, Bobby Rogers and Mary Tarplin. The group started working with Berry Gordy after they failed an audition with Brunswick Records.

They have been referred to as Motown's "soul supergroup". The Miracles recorded 26 Top 40 pop hits, sixteen of those reached the Billboard Top 20, seven top ten singles and a number one hit with The Tears of a Clown.

This record is in very good condition, it does show a little wear but does sound very good.
