This is a Capitol Records album by Tennessee Ernie Ford called Hymns. He first released Hymns in 1955 and it stayed on the charts for 277 weeks. This album T756 has a black label with the colors around the outside of the label and the logo is in the upper center. I believe this copy was released in 1962. It is a wonderful album by one of the all time great singers, entertainers and actors.

On this album are the following songs: Who At My Door Is Standing; Rock Of Ages; Softly And Tenderly; Sweet Hour Of Prayer; My Task; Let The Lower Lights Be Burning; Te Ninety And Nine; The Old Rugged Cross; When They Ring The Golden Bells; In The Garden; Ivory Palaces and Others.

Ernest Jennings Ford born in Bristol, TN in 1919. He was best known for his #1 Hit Sixteen Tons and Shotgun Boogie. He had a rich baritone voice and a down home sense of humor.

This copy of this great album is in excellent condition. VG+.
