This album was released on Spinorama Records in High Fidelity during the 1960's, this album is a bit unusual as Ritter only recorded the A side while Bob Jones recorded the B side.

On the A side are these songs: Old Chisholm Trail, Home On The Range, Thank You, Green Grass Grows All Around and Froggy Went A Courtin. Bpb Jones gave us the following songs on the B side: Jessie James, Foggy, Foggy Dew, Shenandoah, John Henry and Boll Weevil.

Tex Ritter was born in Marvaul, Texas in 1907 and he grew up on a large ranch near Beaumont, Texas. Learning to ride, rope and take care of anything needing doing on a ranch, he was raised a real cowboy. He graduated top of his class from high school and wen on to the University Of Texas where he majored in Law, that is until he got hooked on acting and moved to New York where he joined a theatrical troupe.  

During his career he sang cowboy songs on the radio, appeared in broadway productions, his own radio shows, he appeared in 85 movies. Add this classic to your collection today!
