This 45 rpm was released by Columbia Records in 1965 for The Byrds.
This song was written by Pete Seeger in the late 1950's and it was first recorded in 1959. The lyrics except for the title, which is repeated throughout the song, and the final two lines that consist of the first eight verses of the third chapter of the biblical Book of Ecclesiastes. The song was originally released in 1962 as "To Everything There Is A Season" by the folk group the Limeliters on their album Folk Matinee, and then months later on Seeger's own The Bitter and the Sweet.
However the song became an international hit in late 1965 when it was recorded by the group The Byrds. The single entered the U.S.chart at number 80 and reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 on October 23, 1965.
This 45 sounds good but shows some wear. Still consider it VG.
