The New Yorkers a band that started in Portland, Oregon in 1967. They gained a lot of popularity in the Pacific Northwest after winning a substantial battle of the bands in the late sixties.
This record was released by Decca Records in 1969. The A side, "I Guess The Lord Must Be In New York City" was written by Harry Nilsson and the B side of this record was "Do Wah Diddy" written by Jeff Bary and Ellie Greenwich.
The New Yorkers later changed their name to the Hudson Brothers and became quite popular both as a group and separately.
This record is in very good condition.
